Paper Sakura

I like to make cosplay out of paper, it started at my first con. I shall be putting up more of the older ones but as I don't have all of my photo files on my laptop I couldn't. This is a cosplay of Cardcaptor Sakura's Sakura from the 2nd season's opening (?) If I remember correctly. The dress is made from drawing paper with an under skirt of pink tissue paper. There is also an interesting under wire contraption to make it poof out like that. The sleeves are tissue paper, the bodice drawing paper again. Its held together with white duct tape and also has the interesting addition of sticky velcro which allows the whole outfit to actually come off and on (which is helpful for you know sitting and going to the bathroom and all that) the staff is all paper and paint. As is are the necklace and garter things (well tissue paper and ribbon.) I also have tissue paper tied in my hair. Sadly I did not win the hall cosplay contest that year not even (I honestly think the judges didn't know what to think) I believe I made this one for Otakon 2007.
